Emerald green named the color for 2013

I'm sure you've already heard but Pantone made their announcement that the official color of 2013 is... EMRALD GREEN!  I'm swooning.  Not only do I love the dreamy gem but this particular shade of royal green transcends into all areas of fabulous! Pantone.com describes this color as "Lively.Radiant. Lush… A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony."

So remember when working with vibrant colors around the eyes a little goes a looooong way! I find the best way to blend Emeralds is pairing the shadows or liners with a warm gold or toasty brown.
